Dr. Chapman is a former United States Air Force Flight Surgeon. He has served as a human factors expert in numerous aircraft accident investigations. He understands the unique physical requirements of cockpit aviation and aerospace medicine.

Dr. Chapman is Board Certified in Occupational Medicine. He serves as the medical director for the MWorks Occupational Health Clinic at the University of Michigan Hospital.

The MWorks clinic is located next to the Emergency Room at the U-M Hospital at 1500 East Medical Center Drive in Ann Arbor. Clinic hours are 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Go the Emergency Room entrance where free valet parking is available to all MWorks patients.

Dr. Chapman was a Flight Surgeon in the United States Air Force and has over 150 flight missions in high performance aircraft. He has participated in numerous aircraft accident investigations as a human factors resource and he has training in Global Medicine, Altitude Physiology, Tropical Diseases, ATLS, and ACLS.

Dr. Chapman is a graduate of Albion College, Michigan State University College of Medicine, and the University of Michigan School of Public Health.
